Social dreaming has a focus on dreams and what they say about our social systems and environments, not their personal meanings or the personalities of the dreamers.
What do our dreams tell us about our organisations, communities and society?
This workshop is open both to those who have some experience of this method AND to those new to it.
The two days will include: hosted dream matrices and reflection dialogues (the basic processes of social dreaming); some theory supporting social dreaming; fields of applications.
The workshop is led by:
Domenico Agresta: formerly Trustee of the Gordon Lawrence Foundation, now a Board and Founder member of Social Dreaming International Network. He works with SD studying Rites of Passage, Religious Rites and cultural contexts focusing in research applications. He is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, group-analyst and psycho-oncologist. Chair of the GASi Scientific Committee. Academic Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA); Past-Chair of Family Therapy Section and Past-Chair of Webinars Committee in IAGP (The International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes). He teaches at University and at Schools of Psychotherapy.
Heather Stradling: Board member and Secretary of the Social Dreaming International Network. Experience with SD spans local, regional, national and global contexts, professional development, organisational consultancy and community based activities. She is a member of the: British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Accredited); British Psychological Society; European Society for Trauma and Dissociation; EMDR Association UK.
