Professional Programmes for Matrix Hosting, Project Practice and Applied Research
Over the past ten years, four editions of the SDIN training programme have supported more than 60 professionals in developing their understanding and practice of Social Dreaming. Building on this experience, SDIN now introduces a redesigned international training series, offering a progressive pathway with greater flexibility.
Module 1. Foundations of Social Dreaming: Matrix Hosting and Sense-Making | March-April 2027
Module 2. Social Dreaming Projects: Planning, Delivery and Review | June-November 2027
Module 3. Social Dreaming as Research: Design, Fieldwork and Analysis | January-December2028
Rooted in the intellectual and practical legacy of Gordon Lawrence and those who worked with him, the series brings Social Dreaming into dialogue with contemporary professional and social contexts. Participants learn through theoretical input, experiential work, supervised practice and reflection with experienced Social Dreaming practitioners.
The training brings together two international cohorts based in Europe and Australia, creating opportunities to learn across different professional and cultural contexts and to develop the responsible use of Social Dreaming within participants’ own fields of work.
